Make your spine your focus as you strive towards better health. Increasing flexibility, strength, alignment and bone density will have a beneficial effect on your health. Weight bearing exercises and aerobic exercise is important. Our exercise physiologist and physiotherapists can advise on this.
When it comes to posture, try to reduce the amount of time you spend sitting down. Research data collected over the past 10 years has shown that people who are seated more are more prone to not only obesity but also metabolic diseases such as: diabetes; high blood pressure; early cancer; high cholesterol; and cardiovascular disease.
